love the cake! I too have been decorating cakes since high school, and still now as a mother of 4! My son is turning 8 here soon, and I bought the same star wars figures last year for his cake this year...your cake has given me some great ideas. Thanks!

Can I ask where you got these action figures from? I love this idea!

Thanks Katie! I made this cake for a friend. Her son loves Star Wars so she picked up the action figures. I don't know where she got them but I would imagine you could find something similar at Toys R Us. Thanks for visiting my blog!

Hi, great cake! Is that two round cakes on the bottom and one smaller round cake on top? What size cake pans did you use? I am guessing you used two boxes of cakemix for this?

Thanks Dawn! I believe I used a 10 inch cake pan for the bottom and a 6 inch for the top. I bake all my cakes from scratch but I would guess 2 boxes of cake mix would work just fine.

This cake looks great! What did you use for the Star Wars logo?
